Representative Owens moved to amend SB174 by adding the contents of SB73 into SB174, seconded by Representative Thompson. Motion carried. Representative Highberger requested his "Nay" vote be recorded.
Representative Owens moved to amend SB174 by adding the contents of HB2023 into SB174, seconded by Representative Turk. Motion carried.
Representative Owens moved to amend SB174 by adding the contents of HB2398 as amended and passed by the House of Representatives, into SB174, seconded by Representative Eric Smith. Motion carried.
Representative Owens moved to amend SB174 by adding the contents of SB244 into SB174, seconded by Representative Eric Smith.
Representative Carmichael proposed a substitute motion to amend. (Attachment 1).
Representative Carmichael moved, Representative Schlingensiepen seconded, to adopt the substitute motion. Motion failed. Division was requested. The vote was 4 "Aye" votes with the remainder voting "Nay". Representatives Carmichael, Highberger, Schlingensiepen, and Martinez requested their "Aye" votes be recorded.
Representative Owens renewed his amendment to add the contents of SB244 into SB174, seconded by Representative Eric Smith. Motion carried. Representatives Highberger, Carmichael, Schlingensiepen, and Martinez requested their "Nay" votes be recorded.
Representative Owens moved, Representative Thompson seconded, to recommend SB174 as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried. Representatives Highberger and Carmicheal requested their "Nay" votes be recorded.
