47-439. It shall be unlawful in any brand inspection area, for any person, (1) who has purchased or received cattle or sheep carrying the brand of another; or (2) who has cattle or sheep in his possession, either for himself or another, which carry the brand of another; to fail or refuse to exhibit to the commissioner, to any brand inspector, or to any peace officer, upon request, a bill of sale for such cattle or sheep. |
